Self-signed certificate on an internal monitoring dashboard

VUL-012 - Last updated RemediationInProgress Low Scanner
Edit

Description

The internal monitoring dashboard uses a self-signed certificate, so browsers show a warning and engineers click through it. The habit makes a real certificate warning easy to miss. The dashboard is only used inside the management network, so the risk is low.
