The partial failover showed that traffic only moved after someone changed the DNS records by hand. Write that step into the runbook, with the records and the time to live to use.

BCT-0002 — Partial failover — Data centre loss planSam de Vries conducted a partial failover of the Data centre loss plan with Roos van Beek and Mustafa Karaca. The managed hosting platform and the customer backup service moved to the second suite within their targets.
Remote monitoring and alerting recovered in 75 minutes against its 60-minute target. The alert routing had to be set up by hand at the second suite, which cost the extra time. The plan is updated with the steps for it, and the next test checks that the routing is ready beforehand.
