Process personal data lawfully, fairly, and in a way that is transparent to the people it concerns. Every processing activity needs an identifiable legal basis (see Art. 6) and must not mislead or surprise the person it's about.
Narrative — how we satisfy this requirement
Customer data is processed only under written agreements, and the privacy statement tells staff and contacts what the company does with their data.
